Senior Specialist Lars Bo Larsen also voiced high praise: “The T15E is our largest model to date. It delivers outstanding stability. In our opinion, its quality sits in the premium tier when compared with competitors.” Even frontline drivers regard the three-year-old T12E as “their own vehicle”, noting that the reversing camera and advanced emergency braking system deliver peace of mind and greater operational convenience.

Premium build quality is merely the entry ticket. What truly opened up new profit streams for Vikingbus is the T-Series’s exceptional adaptability across diverse operating scenarios. Danish schools require zero-emission vehicles for study tour trips, and the Yutong T-Series was virtually the only model that could satisfy all their requirements at the time. Consequently, these electric buses were deployed on school bus routes, transporting roughly 50 students over a 100-kilometre round trip each morning and evening.

Charging ceases to be an obstacle, and passengers welcome the short pause — it makes for an ideal operating model.” The team was further impressed by the vehicle’s range capability. They have completed round trips between Copenhagen and Berlin without intermediate charging, with sufficient remaining range for local short-distance journeys upon arrival. The quiet, comfortable ride has made the T-Series popular among tourists, who often enquire about the brand. One driver remarked: “Nearly every passenger riding the bus for the first time is pleasantly surprised, and many stop to take photos.”
